Dear McLean,
In your letter of 26th September commenting on
papers and plans relating to the Hong Kong Trade School
which were sent to you you wrote as follows :-
"The only suggestion I would venture to offer is that the Yard space is a little cramped. I have found that as such establishments develop there is need for storage space for large odds and ends and for temporary purposes. It might be useful if an area of land could be reserved, behind the building preferably, as such areas are not usually very decorative".
I communicated this comment to the Director of
Education, Hong Kong, and enclose for your information &
copy of his reply.
Yours sincerely,
V. H. McLean, Esq., Ph.D.
